Jamie Jeong
ATTORNEY (D.C.) | Corporate Paralegal
A cum laude graduate of Handong International Law School, Jamie (Jaeyi) Jeong holds a Juris Doctor alongside a Bachelor of Laws with a minor in Economics from Sungshin Women’s University. Her academic path also took her to Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences in Germany, where she completed business-focused coursework during an exchange semester. She passed the Washington D.C. Bar Examination on her first attempt in February 2026.
Before joining Pureum Law Office, Jamie built her transactional foundation at some of Korea’s well-regarded firms. Her time at DLG Law Corporation involved drafting commercial agreements ranging from NDAs to supply agreements and researching international regulatory frameworks touching on virtual assets, AI, ESG, and data privacy. At her first year at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC she filed more than 48 merger notification reports with the Korea Fair Trade Commission as a corporate paralegal, and later returned as a winter associate to support due diligence processes and conduct comparative research on U.S. and Korean corporate law.
Jamie’s practice centers on cross-border corporate and business matters, with particular strength in international legal research, contract review and drafting, and advising clients across jurisdictions. Fluent in English and Korean with working proficiency in German, she is well-positioned to bridge legal and regulatory questions between Korean and international clients alike. Her current work at Pureum includes matters related to Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act, with a focus on domestic representative compliance for overseas companies.
