Hyunji Woo
Paralegal | Global Relations
Hyunji Woo’s years of experience living and working across the UK and Korea shapes her unique contributions to Pureum. She is currently completing her LLB in Law at SOAS University of London, set to graduate in September 2026 with Upper Second Class Honours, and previously completed her secondary education at Henrietta Barnett School for Girls in 2022.
Hyunji’s secular background spanning eastern and western jurisdictions gave her early insight into how legal practice differs across borders, while experience working with children in both countries during the COVID-19 period built the kind of patience and cross-cultural adaptability that carries over into her client work. Her strengths lie in building relationships and communicating clearly across cultural contexts, which aligns naturally to family law and international legal matters.
Fluent in Korean and English with working knowledge of Spanish, Hyunji moves comfortably between British and Korean professional settings. She received national recognition from the Korean Embassy for her Korean writing from a young age, earning a government-funded scholarship to a cultural program for overseas Koreans. At Pureum, she brings that bicultural fluency and people-oriented approach to supporting the firm’s international client relationships.
