Ara Jung is a Korean Certified Tax Accountant (CTA) who advises multinational corporations and internationally mobile individuals on the full spectrum of cross-border taxation in Korea. With nearly a decade of specialized experience in international tax, she has built her practice around cross-border tax structuring and advisory for global enterprises operating in the Korean market. Her areas of expertise encompass international tax structuring, tax treaty analysis, transfer pricing, corporate income tax, VAT, and cross-border compliance, to name a few.
Ara brings a distinctive combination of global education and corporate finance experience to her advisory work. Educated at the University of Toronto and Yonsei University, she went on to serve in the finance team of Hyundai Heavy Industries and the International Tax Department of Hana Tax, where she developed deep expertise in the tax challenges facing global businesses in Korea. She also serves as a member of the National Tax Service’s Tax Appeals Review Committee and the International Fiscal Association (Korea). Having advised more than 70 multinational companies—including Logitech, Deutsche Telekom, Pirelli, and Lufthansa Korea—Ara is recognized as one of Korea’s most trusted English-language advisors for cross-border tax and global MNC matters.
