Divorce Without Legal Grounds in Korea
This Pureum Law Office (PLO) client sought a divorce from a non-cooperative spouse without any specific legal grounds for a judicial divorce.
PLO head attorney Simon Lee meticulously organized all relevant facts and gathered evidence that could support a claim under Article 840(6) of the Civil Act. Based on this, he filed for judicial divorce.
When the opposing party failed to provide a proper response, the court accepted Attorney Lee’s arguments in full and granted the divorce for our client.
