Malaysian Father Secures Extensive Parenting Rights Through International Divorce Mediation

International divorce cases involving children require more than simply resolving custody. In this case, our team represented a Malaysian father in a divorce and property division case in Korea.

Although the parents agreed that the child’s mother would have custody, we successfully negotiated extensive parenting rights for our client. The mediation secured regular video calls, in-person parenting time during school vacations, additional visitation when visiting Korea, and ongoing access to the child’s educational and personal updates. The parties also reached a comprehensive agreement on property division and all remaining financial issues, allowing the family to avoid lengthy litigation while protecting our client’s long-term relationship with his child.
