Securing a Structured Parenting Plan in a High-Conflict Child Custody Dispute

When parents cannot agree on childcare during an ongoing divorce, the court may issue temporary measures to protect the children until the main case is resolved. In this case, we represented the father in an interim custody proceeding involving two young children.

Although the court designated the mother as the temporary custodian during the pending divorce case, we successfully ensured that the father’s relationship with the children was preserved through a structured parenting arrangement. Instead of leaving contact uncertain, the court established a formal visitation process through a court-supported visitation center and confirmed the father’s right to maintain regular contact with the children while the main proceedings continued. This created a clear framework for protecting the parent-child relationship until the final decision is made.
